Hi there! I’m an artist, storyteller and the creator of SpringTime, driven by a passion for both art and people. Online, I go by GlitchKy or Ky for short. While I prefer to stay anonymous for now, I hope that my work speaks for itself. Maybe one day that will change, but for now, I’m just excited to share my ideas with you.
I started in 2015, inspired by the joy it brought to others when I created something just for them. My unique style and speed became recognizable, but above all, I loved the process of bringing ideas to life.
SpringTime has been an escape, something that kept me hopeful through difficult times. My goal is to create something that resonates with others, a story that might bring comfort or inspiration to someone who needs it, just as it has for me.
I’m currently studying event management and before that, I earned a degree in applied visual arts and another in digital design.
Before diving into art, I studied science and was encouraged to pursue fields like neurology or physics due to my academic strengths. While science continues to fascinate me, especially physics, astronomy, and biology. Art always felt like my true calling. Even though some saw it as a "waste of intelligence", I chose to follow my passion. Interestingly, my love for science still shapes SpringTime, influencing its worldbuilding and the way its universe is structured.
Growing up, I faced a lot of challenges, time spent in and out of hospitals, struggles at home and school. Art became my anchor and storytelling gave me a way to connect, even when I felt isolated.
Now, I create in the hope that SpringTime can be that escape for someone else, a world where they feel seen, inspired or simply entertained. If my work can bring even a little light to others, that’s when I know I’ve succeeded.
SpringTime traces its roots back to 2015, when I met my then-best friend, Seb, on ROBLOX. We spent countless hours in Skype and Discord chats, creating a sandbox of ideas together. Seb thrived on throwing out a whirlwind of concepts, while I found my strength in weaving them into something that made sense.
By 2018, I decided to take things further. What had once been a playground of scattered ideas became my story, SpringTime, brought to life through my art and early animations.
While Seb’s influence on SpringTime today is small, some of his original ideas still live on, reworked, reshaped and given new life. They’re no longer his in the way they once were, but without those early sparks, they wouldn’t exist in the same way. In that sense, the promise I made to him about SpringTime remains kept.
