John sports a sleek, slightly side-swept black hairstyle that hints at a brooding, almost emo edge. His deep black eyes glow with vivid red irises, drawing attention to the intensity of his gaze.
A black bunny-shaped badge, embedded in a golden ring, adorns his right pointer finger, a small but iconic mark of his identity. Broad shoulders and sculpted arms showcase his incredible strength, while his toned abs speak to years of discipline and physical prowess. Black nail polish and matching earrings echo his dark aesthetic.
He dresses in a black zip-up hoodie with bunny ears and red accents, layered over a grey shirt and paired with black pants and a subtle bunny tail. His black shoes feature red velcro accents, completing a look that is both practical and expressive. A prominent scar cracks the center of his warm toffee-toned chest, a visible testament to battles fought, while his sharp jaw houses white, well-kept bunny teeth, a striking blend of his Monster charm.
ABILITIES
CARBON MANIPULATION
John can control carbon in his environment, allowing him to materialize objects, reshape his own form and even regenerate injuries. The more carbon available, the stronger his abilities. Complex constructs, such as clones, are unstable and often crumble into ash.
TELEPORTATION
John can instantly transport himself to another location, leaving behind fading ash particles. Colder environments or a drop in his body temperature make teleportation more difficult.
WITHERING
By touching someone, John can induce a withering effect that turns skin into hard, ashy material. If left untreated, it can spread and become lethal as it'll cause the affected area to crumble.
UNWAVERING
Unlike others of his kind, John can continue fighting even at dangerously low temperatures that would normally immobilize or kill. When this occurs, his appearance shifts to a bleached, blue-and-white palette, signaling his weakened state and urgent need for warmth.
RABBIT-LIKE
John’s senses mimic the acute perception of a rabbit. He can detect individuals outside his direct line of sight and possesses exceptional hearing. His powerful legs allow for extraordinary leaps and devastating kicks, making him a formidable combatant.
MONSTER FORM
All Monsters can transform into a colossal, beast-like form, towering over most opponents. In this state, their strength, durability and overall intimidation are greatly enhanced, making them a formidable force in combat.
TRIVIA
- The rough character concept was originally created by Seb.
- John isn’t fond of weaker lifeforms, such as Humans or Demons.
- Despite being a terrible babysitter, John often looks after Spring and Shymai when Claide is unavailable.
- John speaks with a subtle Danish accent, a nod to his original creator.
- When visiting Earth, Claide asks John to disguise his Monster traits as he is capable of shapeshifting, he prefers to put on sunglasses instead.
- John received his pet rock, Pebbles, at age nine from his mother, Gwen.
- In his youth, John wore his badge as a hairpin, much to his father’s disapproval.
- In Monster form, John grows to roughly three meters (9’4”).
- John was originally referred to as “Creep,” though both names came from Seb.
- Originally designed with a sword, his weapon was updated to a scythe with nods to the original design.
- John’s skin is speckled with faint ash patterns all over his body.
- As a quirk, John enjoys eating ice cubes, but not ice cream.
- Early designs included black feathery wings.
- Seb often suggested John would be friends with Slenderman, yes, the creepypasta.
