Duws

About
Duws are friendly creatures living in the Shadow forest, they like to live in hollow trees or burrows in the ground. They're very curious but shy creatures. However they're pretty fond of most humanoids.
They're easily spotted by their colorful eyes and are known to glide across the floor to move. In general most people find them very adorable and don't mind running into them at all when on a stroll.
Dupes
Type: Hostile
Threat level: High
About
Dupes are entities known to lack identity, being a wandering silhoutte in the forest for so long they have figured out a way to attack people and steal their identity for their own. After such an attack the Dupe will take the memories, appearance and abilities of said person and will seek to take their place.
If the victim interferes with this desire to replace them, the Dupe will attempt to further get rid of them for good, the Dupe generally just wants a solid role for themselves in this life.
Wanderers
Type: Hostile
Threat level: Moderate
About
Wanderers are entities similar to how Shadows look when they use their 'shadow camouflage'. They're found all over the planet at night but only in the forest during the day, these creatures will stumble around until they spot a possible target, they'll act friendly and even wave at you. This is to hopefully make the target close the distance between them so it's easier for them to lunge at them.
Inflicted wounds from these guys will 'cause serious infections to one's magic, even in some cases losing the ability to use magic permanently if left untreated.
The Reaper
Type: Hostile
Threat level: Critical
About
This thing's given name is not for nothing, an entity living in the deeper parts of the forest. The Reaper is known to stalk home and kill victims, only killing them on sight if they get to close to it themself. This giant beast doesn't hunt people for food but just for the thrill of it, once it's done playing with it's victim it'll wander off for it to succumb to their injuries. Most people believe it's existence is made up and just there to scare children so they'll behave or the 'Reaper' will come to get them. But all fables aside, some do have claimed to have seen and even encountered it, tragically most who do didn't live to tell what they saw. For now it is believed to be unkillable and the only way to survive it is to last in an ambush long enough to impress it, making people believe this thing is highly intelligent and some sources even claim it's capability of speech.
Some myths indicate the creature is a test from the Rulers, a mere challenge for you as you're left but nothing but your wit and abilities to fight for your life. As for now no one knows it's true origin.
