Shymai, firstly mistaken as a Shadow forest creature got taken in by Claide. Only to be recognised as a lost child by John later on, he quickly got taken under Claide's wing. Sadly it is unknown how Shymai got on the Shadow planet in the first place or where his family is but to numerous attempts they're left with no clue. Shymai doesn't mind this though because he has no memories of his original family since he is still very young and besides Claide and John are the best father figures he could possibly wish for! Shymai loves his new family dearly even though he cannot express it properly in English yet, he does try his best, always!!

1. Size manipulation: Shymai is one of the few Lava monsters capable of manipulating their size by will, it's unsure how big Shymai can really get but the biggest we've seen him is with his head in the clouds!

2. Deception: Shymai is capable of altering his appearance to look like he is from another planet. Not only does this give the illusion he is from the desired planet, he litterally manipulates his body to be so.

1. Flight: Shymai is capable of using his wings for floating/flying in the air!

2. Boosting aura: Shymai has the ability to boost people’s magic levels, enhancing them or stabilizing them.

-Shymai originally was close to being called 'Dain'.

-Shymai has an oval hole in his shirt for his wings!

-Shymai can retract his wings but often doesn't bother to do so, this being a fire hazard.

-Shymai often steals Spring's school lunch.

-Shymai often attempts to sneak with Spring to her school.

-Shymai loves to crawl into enclosed spaces, Claide made him his own little room in his drawer yet he still goes into other spaces like the fridge.

-Shymai sees John and Claide as his dads.

-Shymai often stuffs himself with more than he can eat and ends up being temporarily immobilized.

-Shymai's favorite place to be is inside of Claide's hoodie, often his cap. There is like a 90% chance he is sleeping in there at all times.
